Gender Affirming Surgery Photos - Case #6144

Patient Case #6144

30 year old top surgery  patient with a history of significant weight loss.  Required double incision because of skin laxity.  Note that the  prominent areas under the patient’s arms in the post operative photos was present in the preoperative photos as well.  These are not “dog ears” but are referred to as “lateral thoracic rolls”.  Removal would require more surgery and is not part of a top surgery procedure.  Lateral thoracic rolls are commonly seen in larger patients and after weight loss.
