Skin Cancer – Preparation and Treatment – Brookline

Published on November 20, 2015
Skin Cancer

Skin cancer, like any cancer diagnosis, can be traumatizing and difficult to accept. With growing numbers being reported every year, skin cancer diagnoses are rising faster than any other type. The first and one of the most important steps you can take to overcome skin cancer is to consult with experienced board-certified plastic surgeon Dr. Richard Bartlett. Education and preparation are key for early and successful treatment.

Skin cancer can appear on any part of the body regardless of your age, race and gender. Typically, you are more prone to the condition if your skin is fair and freckles easily or if you have light-colored hair and eyes, have a large number of moles, have a family history of skin cancer, are regularly exposed to intense sunshine or spend a lot of time working and playing outdoors.

Please feel free to contact us at any time at our office in Brookline if you have questions or concerns.
