Note that the prominent areas under the patient’s arms in the post operative photos was present in the preoperative photos as well. These are not “dog ears” but are referred to as “lateral thoracic rolls”. Removal would require more surgery and is not part of a top surgery procedure. Lateral thoracic rolls are commonly seen in larger patients and after weight loss.
